Erika Jansen Beauty is amazing!! Erika has a Hair and Makeup Team at the Viana Hotel and Spa for 14 years, but I was unfortunately not able to make it there so she agreed to come to my house to do the service. She is extremely professional and accommodating. She showed up just on time with her team and did the most stunning makeup and hair for my wedding. I was astonished at how flawless my skin looked. Erika so talented and did such a beautiful job on my makeup for my wedding! During my trial she made it so much fun and made sure to create a look that I loved. Even after the trial she stayed in touch to make sure I loved the look and made suggestions how to make it to even better!! Erika also accommodated a few of my bridesmaids last minute who changed their mind and wanted to get make up done ( a week before the wedding). She did so beautiful on all our makeup and really made sure we all looked and felt stunning. AND she came to venue later that night before my ceremony to do touch ups on all of us. Which was so sweet and very appreciated !!! Although, the makeup held up completely and would have been ok if she wasn’t able to provide that extra service for us!!! I received so many compliments on my makeup! If you want someone who will go above and beyond, definitely give her a call and book her!!! The spa at the VIANA also offers a lot of other services. You can your hair styled there, massages, facials, teeth whitening, tanning, etc… It’s really such a wonderful spot and it was great having that level of high quality talent at the hotel we were staying at!! Erika did my makeup for my son's wedding. Great job! Looked natural - just the right touch. Very convenient at the hotel. She and her team were professional, easy to work with. Really listened to what I requested. She also met us at the reception hall for touch ups before the big party!! Highly recommend.
If i could give more than 5 stars, I would. I’ve had makeup done for events with a number of makeup artists and I can say that Erika is the best I’ve ever worked with. Not only was she able to accommodate me with only a days notice, but she was attentive, kind, diligent, friendly, and an expert in what she does. The experience was so wonderful and she made me feel comfortable the entire time. She wanted my opinion throughout the session and even when I told her I was happy, she kept working to make it perfect. I’ve never had an experience like this! In the past, I’ve had artists apply makeup based on their preferences and what looks good on them - but Erika wanted to make sure that everything was what looked best on me. She made sure to have an understanding of my skin type and my typical routine and gave me advice for general skin care and makeup application. She used high quality products and clean brushes which makes all the difference. She had me smiling and laughing the entire session and made sure I was 100% happy with the result before I left. I would recommend her to friends and family and I hope to work with her again in the future. She is the person you want by your side for big events and you will not regret it.
